Burn Baby Burn

Controversies have been going on about Pastor Terry Jones in the town of Gainesville Florida regarding his allegations to burn the Muslim scripture also known as the Quran. Individuals ranging from Sergeant McCrystal to President Barack Obama have urged this Florida Pastor to call off his event of burning the Quran on the ninth anniversary of September 11th. If he should go through with the burning party it is thought that major riots will erupt in the Middle East endangering the men and women in uniform. But after all the media attention the Pastor had announced that he will be calling of the burning party.

The Freedom of Religion is why the United States of

America was established. So shouldn't that still apply for today, that everyone has the right to believe in whatever they choose? I think that Pastor Jones' plan to burn the Quran is absolutely ridiculous because not everyone who is a Muslim is a part of Al-Quada. His narrow mindedness is a disgrace to the American people and our reputations. Burning the Quran will not do any good but only bad because of the direct danger he will be putting American troops in. I think that on 9/11 we should remember the police, paramedics, and firefighters who put their lives on the line and all those who didn't need to perish on that horrible day. If a comfortable Pastor in the great state of Florida cannot demonstrate peace, then who can?
